First things first: AI can hardly cope with all the phenomena of modern art. It understands neither the concept of abstraction nor deconstruction. It cannot deal with the abstract visual elements of a Francis Bacon, nor can it understand the various ideas and methods of the Cubists. It also cannot deal with the concept of chance.

AI can only interpret underlying clichés – which it draws from the image pool of its assigned area of the internet. However, the images do not look like paintings, but rather like photography, like an illusion of photography, which adds another interesting aspect to the work.
